Alabama Beer ABV law passed the senate yesterday…….

Yesterday the Alabama state senate passed the ABV legislation HB373 allowing the sale of beer with up to 13.9% alcohol in the state up from 6%.
Governor Riley signed into law last week a similar piece of legislation allowing the increase in alcohol content of fortified wine. now anyone who cares about personal freedoms should call and email the governors office urging him to sign this into law.
go to this page http://www.governor.state.al.us/contact/contact_form.aspx and voice your views, make it short and sweet and try not to use the gambling arguments,,,,,,,just be positive.
even though this doesnt have a direct impact on Homebrewing today, in the future when we finally do get homebrewing legalized it would be nice if we could make just about anything we want without fear of reprisals.
